“Corazón Mármol” is a song that had already been played at her concerts but that changed completely when taken to the recording studio. It has a superb production, which brings out the details of the song as if it were a journey through a landscape where you can perceive all the elements. The song is soaked in Alice's personality and and she could create a harmony between the different musical elements and her emotional vocals. Her voice and her interpretation invite the listeners to flee into her emotional world.
"Corazón Mármol" is just the fourth song in Spanish by Alice Wonder, after "Bajo la Piel", "La Apuesta" (both featured on the album "Firekid", 2018) and "Por si Apareces" in 2020, and not an ounce of her emotional intensity is lost as a consequence of the change of language. It is a song that Alice wrote a few days after her sold-out concert in the legendary Madrid venue “Joy Eslava”. It was only after this important step in her young career that the first ideas emerged and she was able to allow the emotions to shape the song. According to Alice, “this is probably the most honest and confusing song I have ever written. It talks about the desire to grow and also of the consequences that this brings. I travel through memories of my childhood, moments that shaped me, comments that I heard. It's a sonorous message, maybe a cry for help, but also a call to all those who want to get out of their four walls and don't know how. ”
Due to the limitations of the corona pandemic, the song was completed in her house with the help of the renowned Spanish producer Ángel Luján (who has also worked with Spanish artists Vetusta Morla, Xoel Lopez) and the young producer and musician PMP. Alice Wonder added: “I think we managed to give shape to a feeling that I haven't seen much in songs lately. It is the inner struggle to survive, to assert yourself, not to go crazy in-between and to remain whole. It is probably a song that I will always remember over the years as a driving force for my own goals.”
